Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World follows Subaru Natsuki, an ordinary teenager who suddenly finds himself transported to a fantasy world while returning from a convenience store. Lost and confused in this strange new realm, he quickly discovers that survival won't be easy when he's attacked by thugs. A mysterious silver-haired girl named Emilia and her companion, a cat-like spirit named Puck, come to his rescue. Grateful for her help, Subaru decides to assist Emilia with her own quest. However, tragedy strikes when both are brutally killed. To his shock, Subaru awakens at the exact moment he first arrived in this world, realizing he possesses a unique and traumatic ability called "Return by Death" – the power to reset time by dying. Armed only with his memories and determination, Subaru must use this curse-like ability to navigate deadly threats, unravel mysteries, and find a way to protect those he cares about in this unforgiving world.
