Krapopolis is an animated comedy series set in mythical ancient Greece during the earliest days of civilization. The show follows a dysfunctional family of humans, gods, and monsters as they attempt to run one of the world's first cities without killing each other. At the center is Tyrannis, an idealistic mortal king trying to lead his city into a new era of progress and enlightenment. His family includes his father Shlub, a manticore; his mother Deliria, a medusa-like goddess of self-destruction and questionable choices; his half-brother Stupendous, a cyclops; and his half-sister Hippocampus, a mermaid-like creature. Together, they navigate the challenges of building a functioning society while dealing with their own interpersonal conflicts, magical mishaps, and the general chaos of living in a world where gods and monsters are real. The series blends satirical humor with creative takes on classical mythology, offering a fresh and irreverent perspective on ancient Greek legends.
