release dates of TV show Christmas University Challenge

Christmas University Challenge is a festive special edition of the long-running British quiz programme University Challenge. This seasonal variant maintains the iconic format of the original series, featuring teams of alumni returning to represent their former universities in intense academic competition. Presented by Jeremy Paxman, the show brings together graduates who previously competed on the main series, giving them another opportunity to showcase their knowledge across a wide range of subjects including science, literature, history, arts, and current affairs. The Christmas specials retain the programme's famously challenging questions and quick-fire buzzer rounds that have made University Challenge a British television institution. Teams of four face off in knockout-style tournaments, answering starter questions for ten points and bonus questions for additional points. The festive editions offer viewers the same rigorous intellectual challenge wrapped in holiday spirit, as former contestants battle for Christmas glory and the chance to prove their university's academic prowess once again.
