release dates of TV show American Music Awards

The American Music Awards is a prestigious annual television event that celebrates the year's most popular and influential artists across multiple music genres. Created by legendary producer Dick Clark in 1973, the show distinguishes itself from other major music awards by putting the power directly in the hands of fans and music consumers, who determine winners through public voting rather than industry insiders. Each year, the ceremony showcases spectacular live performances from today's biggest music stars, featuring collaborations and tributes that have become cultural moments. Categories span pop, rock, country, hip-hop, soul, R&B, Latin, and contemporary inspirational music, recognizing achievements in areas including Artist of the Year, New Artist of the Year, and various genre-specific honors. The broadcast has become known for its star-studded red carpet arrivals, memorable acceptance speeches, and cutting-edge production values that reflect current trends in the music industry. As one of television's longest-running music award shows, it serves as both a celebration of popular music and a reflection of evolving tastes in American culture.
